I graduated from Salve Regina the Newport College, Newport Rhode Island with a BS in Elementary and Special Education. Upon graduating, I began my teaching career in Washington, Conn. in the Devereux Glenholme School. The Glenhome School is a specialized boarding school that provides a therapeutic program and learning environment to varying levels of academic, social and emotional development in children ages 10 to 18. It was at Glenhome that I taught in a third grade self-contained classroom before moving back to Ocean City, my home town. Through all my years of teaching with the school district I have taught in various special education programs kindergarten through sixth grade such as resource room, in-class support and self-contained. Presently I am teaching in a Multiply Disabled class.
